Halcyon Spirit, a winner on Polytrack at Lingfield in September, has been in poor form over hurdles and was well beaten on his return to the Flat at Cork. James McAuley gets plenty of winners in this sphere and Mischief Star was narrowly beaten in a similar race at Bellewstown when the favourite Adapt To Dan finished tailed off having broke a blood vessel. The latter had been in very good form at Dundalk earlier so has to be respected. STAR OFFICIAL had some decent form in maidens last summer and though well beaten on his reappearance at Sligo was returning from a long break and can get off the mark. Essential Part hasn't fulfilled early promise but takes a drop in class.
