In depth

Verdict

Turpin Tale looked in need of the run at Naas where he travelled well until blowing up and Derek O'Connor is a positive booking. The fillies Lady Vi and Edene D'arc represent Gordon Elliott and the latter is a half-sister to the smart jumper Ball D'Arc. Young Ted has a stamina-packed pedigree so conditions should suit but a chance is taken with MAJOR FAWCETT, who is by Sir Percy out of a very smart staying mare on the Flat. Baboin is a half-brother to the very useful Bapaume and is another to consider.
