ROYAL NAVY SHIP was well supported for the Derby after beating a huge field of maidens at the Curragh but his standing took a battering when beaten at odds of 1/6 by Steip Amach at Leopardstown. He's still in the classics and hopefully can have made enough progress during the winter to get back on track. Mohaayed landed a Navan maiden in good style before returning with a decent effort in Listed company at Leopardstown. Zafilani won a fast-ground maiden on his debut and had the long odds-on John F Kennedy behind when second of three behind Success Days in the Ballysax at Leopardstown. Prologue progressed nicely in his first campaign and ran well on very heavy going at the Curragh on his reappearance.
