In depth

Verdict

This should prove informative with several of these likely to take high order amongst novice chasers this season. MINELLA COCOONER won a Grade 1 novices' hurdle at Leopardstown in February before finishing second to stablemate The Nice Guy in Grade 1's at the Cheltenham and Punchestown Festivals. He had Journey With Me a long way behind in the latter event but Henry De Bromhead's charge was probably feeling the effects of a last-flight fall in the Ballymore at Cheltenham where he'd led for a long way. The selection's stable companion Whatdeawant finished third in that latter event and has always looked a chaser in the making as has another from the yard, Classic Getaway, a winning point-to-pointer, bumper and successful in a Punchestown maiden hurdle.
