Verdict
It should pay to concentrate on the top four on the racecard here and we'll take GONE HUNTING to land it from Timeteam and Rio Royale. The selection is a consistent sort, who won over this trip at Wolverhampton last month before going close when trying to follow up here at Great Leighs. He is a good yardstick and a reproduction of either of those efforts would probably suffice. Timeteam won a Bath maiden in August and was not disgraced in three subsequent handicaps, until going close in that sphere at Newbury last time. He should be bang there again tonight. Rio Royale has been dropped 3lb to a mark of 79 after being out of his depth on his handicap bow at Ascot. He's had a break since then, the yard maintains good form and he is not out of it. Eldorado Days is open to improvement after just five runs and particularly over this 6f trip. He has previously been tried at it once and looks capable enough, though he is not red hot at present and his future looks to lie in handicaps as his mark slides. A better proposition for today may be Key To Love, who is very consistent over both five and six furlongs and handles the Polytrack well, so she can also get involved in the mix, but for today we're going, going, Gone Hunting.
