        EL SCORCHO changed hands for $140,000 last year and Luis Saez takes over the reins on the Empire Maker filly, who has run green in both starts to date. It will be disappointing if she can’t go close in this with likely market rival Matcha having run poorly in her two starts this term. John Kimmel’s mare has only managed one place in six attempts with Josefa, who holds Lookn Fine as Wine on past form, proving more consistent. Bit Coin Queen, Silver Palms and Funny Feather should also contest minor honours.
