Verdict
The unbeaten Tonalist's Shape is moving nicely through the ranks having won at this level when making all here on her latest outing. She looks set for another bold bid given the re-opposing pair Spice Is Nice and Dream Marie filled the places last time. The former was having only her second start and makes more appeal than stable companion Mrs. S with further progress likely while Lucrezia arrives on the back of landing a couple of stakes races at Tampa and is also going the right way. But LAKE AVENUE will be sharper for a recent comeback and was good enough to win a Grade 2 contest at Aqueduct last year by four lengths. Bill Mott’s Godolphin filly should be back to something like her best for this and that may well be good enough.
