Verdict
GAELIC TIGER still appeals as a lightly-raced gelding of potential despite a disappointing effort at the Dante meeting when well-punted in a typically competitive Knavesmire handicap. There was no apparent reason for his low-key display and he is returned to action pretty quickly by David O'Meara. Previous efforts already afford him a decent chance here off topweight and the belief remains he has more to offer. He's worth another chance. The consistent Kingthistle remains on a sufficiently workable mark to warrant shortlist inclusion but the main threat may come from well-treated Falcon's Fire who arrives in decent nick and has the services of the in-form Paul Hanagan aboard. His stable companion, Archie's Advice, is worth a market check.
