        Verdict

        FARKLE MINKUS ran out the impressive winner of a maiden at Ayr last time when beating Strummer five lengths. The latter has subsequently finished a couple of lengths behind First To Post at Carlisle so Keith Dalgleish's charge looks to have strong claims on collateral form. Stablemate Candy Hill extended a frustrating run of placed efforts with a third at Musselburgh recently but Candelisa got his head in front on the line at Ayr last time. Ahdaf finished well ahead of Avenue Of Stars when third at Thirsk in July while Fast And Furious won a maiden here before failing to figure in this grade at Goodwood.
