Verdict

It was soft going when LAST EMPIRE won over track and trip on last month’s reappearance. But there’s no reason why she shouldn’t handle this faster surface and further progress is expected with winning partner Danny Tudhope staying loyal. Delachance will be hoping to take advantage of the weight concession having gone close at Yarmouth in May and is preferred to Carlisle fourth Perfect Charm while Belvelly Boy is related to winners and worth a second with David O’Meara’s yard in good form.
