Verdict
Lady Frances failed to figure in a Class 2 sprint at Newmarket last week but had won at Catterick before that, though is 6lb higher today. Carlisle winner Gran Canaria Queen went close again last time when second to the in-form See The Storm at Redcar. Ruby's Day is back on a winning mark but never threatened in this grade at Pontefract during the week while both Jamesbo's Girl and Alexandrakollontai step up in class having won their latest starts. MILLY'S SECRET won off today's mark over track and trip last season and, with a recent comeback at the track under her belt, it's Ann Duffield's filly that gets the vote.
