In depth
Verdict
High numbers have held the advantage when there is some juice in the ground and although he is set to race from 2lb out of the handicap, Clarinch Claymore is ideally berthed. He is as tough as they come and although he has not won on turf for quite some time, he does act equally well on turf as he does on the all weather. Montecristo and Twilight Haze at the top of the card also make plenty of appeal at shorter odds, but Quitte La France could be the biggest threat of all if his draw in number 5 does not hamper him too much.
