      Verdict

      Almarada Prince was always in the front rank at Thirsk, leading a furlong out and running on strongly. After two narrow defeats over further, CURIOUS ROVER dropped back to this trip at Catterick and made all for a comfortable victory. Pontefract winner Princess Alex pulled too hard at Beverley next time while Chepstow debut winner Gladly Ever After led for a long way over 6f at Windsor before weakening. Newcomers Circus Lion and Elegant Call are both very speedily-bred.
