      Verdict

Free Zone had slipped to a winning mark ahead of his win at Carlisle but that was an easier contest and he isn’t one to rely on. Desire ran better than the bare form suggests at Musselburgh last time but the drop back in trip isn’t certain to suit and Inexes may find it tough to defy a 6lb penalty for his Ayr victory. MORE BEAU deserves credit for his Newcastle second which came after a long lay-off and the lightly-raced five-year-old should enjoy the underfoot conditions here.
