In depth

Verdict

Petsas Pleasure still looks a shade high in the weights but should finish closer after last month's pipe-opener over 7f at Redcar. ROYAL OPERA arrives on the back of a win over hurdles at Kelso and, though he was beaten five lengths at Wolverhampton in February, this looks much easier and Brian Ellison's charge is taken to get his head in front. The rest of the field are badly out of sorts but Landaman and Silver Rime have claims on the best of last year's form and Good Boy Jackson could figure on his fourth at York back in October.
