Verdict
A good run from Dower Glen in the previous race would boost confidence in SHARP SHOES, as he beat the latter when winning an apprentice race over C&D last week. Ann Duffield's charge escapes a penalty here and can go in again with Laura Barry keeping the winning partnership intact. Clear Ice and Sharp Bullet look real dangers having both gone close on their latest starts, while at the top of the handicap Ignatieff and Lesley's Choice have claims dropping down in class. Schoolboy Champ is back on a winning mark but Ingleby Star has a bit to find with the selection.
