In depth

Verdict

Cool Dandy was the rank outsider when scoring at Carlisle last month but ran well at that track again on Monday. EY UP ITS MICK has been steadily coming to hand and found only the in-form Mr Wagyu too good here at the start of the month. Just a pound higher, he should be winning a race like this with Kieran Schofield’s claim a plus. Taylored has finished second in both starts since arriving from Ireland but looks vulnerable again while Stronsay is hard to win with. The Mackem Torpedo has only won on Tapeta so far.
