Verdict

Robbie Burnett needs a market check while Meetings Man likes it here but this may boil down to a match between DUBAWI KING and Sheiling, with the former just preferred. Nigel Tinkler's charge won nicely here last time, having previously finished second to a dual subsequent winner, and looks full value for the 5lb rise he's incurred. The concern would be that he needed every yard of the 1m4f trip when getting up close home 17 days ago so this slight drop in trip may not suit, but Joe Fanning is a fine front-running rider and we may see a change in tactics to that effect. Paul Hanagan is obliged to get off Dubawi King to ride Sheiling this time but Richard Fahey's charge clearly has claims on her staying-on second to Lauberhorn last time out. She's unexposed so this 2lb rise in the weights may not be a problem and it'd be a surprise were she not close to good enough. Meetings Man started favourite for that race but finished only fourth having been in winning form over timber before that, but he's not without hope of reversing the form at a track that brings out the best in him. Robbie Burnett makes his handicap debut and needs a look in the market while Reel Love improved for stepping up in trip last time and isn't ruled out back in a handicap, however Dubawi King is a horse in form and looks worth siding with.
