      Retirement Beckons, a winner here last month, had a bit in hand when beating three rivals at Ayr ten days ago so a 2lb rise isn't excessive. However, he had no answer to the front-running MINTNTHAT on the latter course at the beginning of the month and Iain Jardine's improving three-year-old can defy an 8lb rise. Dandy's Angel is 1-32 and usually races over further and the remaining trio are out of form.
