Verdict
Peter Monteith has stepped Ela d'Argent up in trip, so far without any success, since the filly has joined him from Mark Johnston. The three-year-old remains unexposed over this trip though and should not be discounted. Time Marches On and Oscietra both showed better form on their most recent starts and have to be respected but the one they all have to beat is the Richard Fahey-trained King's Crest. A smooth winner at both Chester and Beverley on his last two starts, the son of Deploy will be tough to beat despite a 6lb penalty.
