In depth

Verdict

Wind Shuffle looks the form pick in the finale and is taken to score at the expense of Regent¿s Secret and Valdan. The selection won back to back races at Carlisle last month before getting beat into fourth place at Ayr last time out. He is running off a career high now but has not stopped improving all year and as this looks an easier opportunity than his last race he only has to reproduce his best to win. Regent¿s Secret has been performing over hurdles this summer. He was in winning form at Perth last time out but has not won on the level since last year. That said he has run well at this venue in the past and is one to note in the betting market. As is Valdan who caught the eye when third in a competitive field at Ayr last time out and another bold run can be expected. But for the winner we return to Wind Shuffle.
