Verdict

Jeu De Vivre remains 3lb higher than June's win over 1m3f here, but has gone close since and should be thereabouts again. Stags Leap was beaten less than a length when fifth at Ayr last week and has to come into the reckoning, while Morning Time showed a bit more at the same track last time and is another to consider. However, SHARP SOVEREIGN has been unlucky so far this season not to add to last year's four victories and he went close again over a shorter trip here last month. He deserves another chance to get his head back in front today.
