In depth

Verdict

The selection here is Lemon Drop Kid. This colt has only run twice in his life but he improved on his debut at Newbury last summer with a promising reappearance behind Red Somerset at Kempton. He can oblige here. The dangers include O'Tara trained by the in form Mark Tompkins, whose second at Newcastle last backend was followed by a very promising third to Peppertree Lane at Ripon in April. Stormy Love from Mark Johnston's yard has not been seen out this season and would need to improve on last year's two outings. My Arch, trained by Kevin Ryan is an interesting recruit to the flat, having been hurdling recently. However the selection is Lemon Drop Kid to give Sir Michael Stoute yet another success.
