    Verdict

It's taken a while to get APPEAL on to the racecourse but there were definite signs of promise on her debut fifth at Kempton, where she stayed on nicely in the closing stages having been very green in the early part of the race. A 200,000gns yearling, she's certain to improve on that effort over this longer trip and can make the most of her fillies' allowance here. Ampleforth has finished third in a couple of maidens on the Fibresand but looks nothing special and more interesting is Newcastle second Tadabeer, who is improving with experience and has Paul Hanagan's assistance in the saddle again today. Doynosaur has a bit of scope and may be best of the rest.
