Verdict

Alexandrakollontai won last year's renewal off a 3b lower mark but finished behind Pull The Plug here last month when the latter was third. Declan Carroll's charge also beat prolific course winner Economic Crisis and Jamesbo's Girl on that occasion and makes more appeal than Escrick, who arrives in good form but steps up a couple of grades. By contrast, LACING drops down in class having slipped back down the weights since scoring at Carlisle in July and Richard Fahey's filly gets the nod to get her head back in front.
