        Merryvale Man Good winner on soft ground two outings ago; would probably need more rain to take a hand in this company.

        Kingsade (IRE) Not beaten far in a head bobbing finish on latest start; probably wants faster ground to show best form.

        Nichol Fifty Often thereabouts but tends to find at least one too good; ideally wants further these days.

        Hasta La Vista Still retains enthusiasm for the game at the age of 11; sure to have more behind him than finish in front of him.

        Norman Conquest (USA) Little chance on the form book; better over hurdles than on the flat.

        The Fairy Flag (IRE) Best form over shorter than this trip and yet to prove he stays 1m4f.

        Filial (IRE) Beaten a long way when second last time; needs to improve on recent efforts to take a hand.

        Katie Komaite Finished second in this race 12 months ago and races off a 4lb lower mark this year; solid claims if none the worse for hard race on Saturday.

        Field of Vision (IRE) Still capable of respectable form as when second a fortnight ago; claims if that form can be relied upon.

        Just Good Friends (IRE) Little to recommend this exposed four-year-old.

        Bobanvi Has done little to suggest he is capable of taking a hand.

        Craigary Has dropped to a very low mark but easy to see why on recent efforts.
