    Verdict

Alsvinder was less than a length behind Stronsay here earlier in the month and ahead of Kilconquhar and Firmdecisions. Philip Kirby’s charge is 8lb better off with Liam Bailey’s runner with the latter having picked up a penalty for scoring over track and trip subsequently. Highland Acclaim didn’t enjoy much luck in-running at Carlisle 10 days ago but is a shadow of his former self. LANGHOLM made all at Carlisle on the same day, with Gleaming Arch well beaten, and similar tactics could pay dividends here with Nodsasgoodasawink having a first run for new connections and still edging up the weights.
