Verdict
Another small field goes to post form this handicap and the principals look to be La Sylphide, First Maite and Finmar and we will take a chance on La Sylphide. The six-year-old from the George Moore yard won well over course and distance last time out when defeating Tony Tie and although he has risen in the weights for that win he will be hard to beat as this race does not look as competitive as the last race he won. Finmar was nine and a half lengths behind La Sylphide in that race and although he is better off at the weights La Sylphide appears to still hold the edge. First Maite is another that could go well but his best form of late has come on the AW so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Of the remainder Mount Pekan is from a yard in form and he is worth a cautionary look in the market.
