        Verdict

        It seems a strange move to drop LADY DEL SOL back to 5f after she ended a long losing run over 7f at Catterick but Marjorie Fife's filly wasn't beaten far over C&D in May and could easily be good enough to defy her penalty. Linda Perratt is responsible for half of the eight-strong field but only veteran Distant Sun has shown any recent worthwhile form while Piste looks held by the selection on a line through Newcastle winner Ursus. Miserere Mei may be best of the rest.
