Jadan has claims on the form shown here earlier this month but disappointed at Ayr last time and is hard to back with any confidence after that effort so preference is for Throw The Dice, with The Salwick Flyer rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has shown a consistent level of form of late and a reproduction of recent efforts may well suffice in this poor event. Topweight Brut is closely matched with Alan Berry's runner on their showing at Ayr and should not be far away, while George The Best will appreciate any easing of the ground. Jim Goldie has his string in good form so Strawberry Patch has to be respected but a bigger threat is likely to come from The Salwick Flyer, although Ian Semple's gelding may be a shade high in the weights. In a moderate contest it is Throw The Dice that gets the vote.
