    Verdict

Barrolo came up short off today’s mark when bidding for a hat-trick at Newcastle but Blue Antares has been in the mix since scoring at Ripon back in August. Lunacy won off a similar mark over track and trip last week while Rory The Cat has won a couple of times at Beverley this year. But BEST GUESS has improved with every start and, with further progress expected upped in trip for his handicap debut, he gets the nod.
