      Verdict

      DANZENO has been competing in pattern races all year. He should have done better in a Listed race at York last time but has every chance once again on these terms and Michael Appleby’s charge gets the nod. Ascription made a belated seasonal debut in the Ayr Gold Cup but missed the break and still has something to prove over 6f. Jack Dexter finished ahead of the latter at Ayr last time and will relish the testing ground but Scrutineer has a bit to find with the selection on latest running. Taexali, Ninjago and Another Wise Kid look up against it on these terms.
