In depth

Verdict

BELLA NOIR finished second to Pendragon in a seller at this track last time but the latter is rated much higher than any of today's opposition and Elaine Burke's mare can make the most of what looks a good opportunity. She's preferred to recent classified stakes winner Another For Joe, though three-time Polytrack winner Resuscitator can race off a lower mark back on this surface and may figure. Peter Anders ran well at Doncaster last time having won at Southwell before that and is another to consider off only a 1lb higher mark today.
