        Verdict

        Lacerta lost his maiden tag in good style at Newcastle earlier this month though takes a slight step up in grade from a 5lb higher mark. Fillydelphia has an almost identical record having gained her first success at Catterick a couple of weeks ago but Schmooze landed a handicap at this level here last month and should go close again. Regal Ways has yet to win a race but ran well here last weekend and is closely matched with Voice From Above on their 1-2 here in June. Irish-based handler John Feane has had five runners in the UK this season and three winners. The filly AZAMESSE (NAP) hasn't had much racing and is yet to prove she stays this trip but she has some scope and, with her low weight, can continue her trainer's good record.
