    LAST SOVEREIGN is a long way clear on official ratings and won easily the last time he ran in this company before landing a class 3 handicap at Newmarket. He again ran well there last time and looks too good for Hamoody, who is the only viable alternative. Dandy Nicholls' veteran won a seller and a claimer before a fair run in a tough handicap at Goodwood but he's rated 14lb below the selection and meets him on level terms with jockey claim taken into consideration. The remainder are impossible to fancy on these terms though Rock Canyon has been running well enough to snatch third place.
