Verdict

Despite the small field, heavy going will make this a stiff test for these newcomers. The market should provide the best guide but HANALEI BAY, a half-brother to four winners and out of a mare who won four times over 1m1f, is handed the vote. Indie Banned is more speedily bred, especially on his dam's side, while Marcus Caesar should be suited by around a mile in time. Willie The Whipper is stoutly bred being out of a mare by Slip Anchor while the cheaply-bought filly Dark Marvel is related a decent juvenile winner over the minimum trip.
