Verdict
It is hard to oppose Notable Guest here in a maiden event that lacks strength. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained colt ran very well when third in a Newmarket handicap last time. Given that the second there, Art Trader, went on to win comfortably at the Goodwood festival on Thursday, he looks like he will be sent off a very short-priced market leader here. Of the others, Bijou Dan is related to a number of winners and Danettie has something to like on breeding but, overall, it is hard to get away from Notable Guest, who holds an outstanding chance.
