Verdict

None of these can be dismissed out of hand but Tommy Docc has a 14lb hike to contend with after a tremendous effort over 2m in the Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot. Dannyday has strong claims having won easily in a lower grade here last time but Quest For Wonder has a tougher task after landing a Class 5 contest at Brighton last month. HERNANDOSHIDEAWAY (NAP) could not prevent Fabricate landing a double over 1m4f here on his latest start but was five lengths clear of the rest. Michael Dods' charge has more scope than most of these and is also preferred to the frustrating Polarisation.
