        Verdict

With the ground in his favour CITYSCAPE can see off Fanunalter who would probably prefer quicker going. Roger Charlton's colt has been given a break since an expensive reversal in a listed race at Ascot but having been placed in Group races before he has the class to put these to the sword if ready to go. Fanunalter got no sort of run at Salisbury last time in a quality Group Three and is rated much better than the bare form, and he rates more of a threat than the experienced front-runner Ordnance Row on this first start for Michael Jarvis. Awzaan, not seen since finishing down the field in the 2,000 Guineas, is a fascinating contender but he is yet to prove his effectiveness over a mile. Brian Meehan has an excellent record when fitting his horses with headgear so Dancing David is not discounted despite a poor run at York, whilst Desert Myth needs to improve as he steps up in grade but a bold run wouldn't be the biggest shock.
