In depth
Verdict
Blackpool Beau hails from a stable in excellent form and is entitled to run well having finished second on his debut here, although the extra furlong is not forced to suit him. Magic Myth has shaped with some promise on two starts so far, but may be seen to better effect in nursery company. The clear form pick is the Irish raider, Lawood. His Curragh second reads particularly well after the winner went on to be placed at Royal Ascot, and Lawood can make the journey worthwhile here by getting off the mark.
