In depth

Verdict

In-form sprinters are usually the ones to be with which causes a problem here as Script is the only contender to have made the front four last time and that was in a claimer. However, there is little difference between that level and low grade handicaps these days and Alan Berry's charge seems sure to go well. Those at the head of the weights have been most disappointing of late whilst Layla's Oasis is held by Script on recent running at this venue. SPYKES BAY was certainly well below par last time in a decent race won by Meandmyshadow but he's been in pretty good nick otherwise for the Burke team and is well suited by 5f on good ground. Delete that latest run from his CV and he looks to have a more than decent chance of scoring here.
