In depth

Verdict

CAMBERLEY TWO completed a five-timer in very easy fashion at Pontefract but is saddled with a 12lb penalty. Charles Bishop, who rode him to victory at Salisbury in June, takes off 7lb so Roger Charlton's colt isn't too badly treated and can make it six on the trot. Maggie Mey looks a big threat as David O'Meara's filly has also been in excellent form and gave her stable companion Ingleby Exceed a fright at York last time when Buzz Law wasn't far behind. Squires Gate was out of form earlier in the season, like many of his stablemates, but won on soft ground here last season and must come into the reckoning.
