In depth

Verdict

Points winner Halloween Harry is a half-brother to winning hurdler Letemgo and attached to a powerful stable so is one for the short-list. Browndodd and Buddha Scheme look the type to thrive over obstacles but Kootenay River needs to improve on last month’s run at Kempton. NEWTIDE was an eye-catcher at Chepstow on his first run under Rules. He’ll know more and strip fitter today.
