In depth
Verdict
Khun John gets the confident vote in the finale with Pagan Sword and Nightspot rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair third on his first run of the season behind Del Mar Sunset, is sure to strip fitter here and with his yard back amongst the winners he looks the one to be on off what remains a fair mark. Pagan Sword rates the main danger as he was in front of the selection last time out but on these revised terms he has a little to find. Nightspot is another that could go well on his latest second behind Uig but all his best form is with more cut in the ground and he looks opposable on that basis. Of the remainder Kingdom of Dreams is thrown in on his best form but he has shown little of late while Frank Crow ran as if in the handicappers grip when fifth behind Primo Way last time and with this in mind for the winner we are happy to return to Khun John.
