Verdict
A high draw is usually a big advantage in races of this nature at Haydock and, although Intelibet One and Bollin Jeannie are respected, Mannora is ideally situated in the stalls and the return to six furlongs is enough to swing the vote in her favour today. The daughter of Prince Sabo ran better than her finishing position would suggest at Lingfield last time and the way she dropped out at the furlong pole just confirmed that six furlongs is probably her limit for the time being. The Peter Howling-trained filly is less exposed than most of these and from a rating of just 57, she could easily still be a step ahead of the handicapper. Bishop's Lake has so far failed to live up to her early promise but is dropping to a more reasonable mark and may be good value for a place today. The same sentiments apply to Intellibet One, who is in good form at present, but unlike Mannora, he has yet to conclusively prove that this is her ideal trip.
