Verdict
This is better quality than the normal amateur rider's races and it should prove to be a competitive affair. Modernism has to be respected with Simon Walker taking the ride but he does take some knowing despite the reduced mark and there are few in better form here. Mais Si is a fascinating contender from a top Irish yard with Jamie Codd booked who is starting to look well handicapped and he along with Take Two and Diamonds A Dancing give this field some depth. THORNTOUN CARE comes from a stable having a fine season and he looked slightly unlucky at Carlisle last time (poorly placed) and he's given a chance to gain his fourth win of the season here.
