        Verdict

        Another wide open affair in which many have chances. Gigs Gambit was a good second behind Meldrum Star on this course last time out he is sure to come on for the run and will be hard to beat with conditions sure to be similar. Kalca Mome also ran well on his debut when second at Stratford behind One For Me he has plenty of scope for improvement and he will not be far away if he copes with this softer ground. Bewleys Hotels was behind Gigs Gambit last time out and there is no reason why the placing should be reversed. Gardor has shown a modicum of ability over hurdles notably when second to Bound at Market Rasen. Didn'tsleepawink is from a top yard has shown a modicum of ability and any market confidence would be significant. Macanillo is a well bred gelding and could go well at a big price. The remainder look as if they will improve for the experience.
