Verdict

Another complex handicap but the Meade yard is back in action after an enforced period of hibernation and PHOSPHOR (NAP) looks temptingly treated. He appeared to need the run in March, displayed considerable potential in two juvenile starts and handled ground with cut on both occasions. His yard is now expected to make up for lost time and the application of first-time blinkers is another plus. Pendleton scored on the all-weather last time but revealed plenty of ability on both juvenile starts and handled soft ground well on Turf. He should improve again for a yard that does so well with sprinters. Constant gives the impression of steadily coming to the boil and is respected along with Glorious Emaraty and Whelans Way.
