      Verdict

      The betting suggested Compton Heights would go close on his first start since 2013 and he duly won at Ayr last month. Bronze Beau scored at Hamilton a week ago but is upped 5lb while Very First Blade has yet to win on Turf in 16 attempts. Ryan Style has been treading water off similar marks for some time now and has not won since 2011 so a speculative vote goes to SLEEPY BLUE OCEAN. The latter can race off a lower mark on Turf and has slipped 12lb down the weights since going close at Southwell in March.
