BASTOGNE was beaten less than a length when third in Class 2 company on his handicap debut and David Evans’ charge may prove best in this lower grade. Burning Bush is upped in class after landing a nursery over 6f at Newbury while Eternal Glory also steps up in distance having won in soft ground earlier. Most of the others with chances go handicapping for the first time including maiden winners Tricky Business, Miss Calculation and Liamarty Dreams while Sharp Riposte won a novices' race at Newcastle and Sovereign Prince and Penywern Taverner represent powerful yards.
